In-mold Decoration (IMD) and In-mold Labeling (IML) are products which add patterns and functions on the surface of the products at the same time as molding, by sandwiching a film with patterns or functions in a mold and pouring the melted resin into it. INO has the ability to design and manufacture IMD and IML, as well as Injection Molding of plastics, providing We can provide unique features on your product surface which cannot be added by conventional process like painting, silk printing or pad printing. IMD is a process where a pre-made plastic part is placed in a mold, and molten plastic is injected around it to create a fully decorated and high-precision part. IMD consists of four steps:

3.Trimming
4.Injection Molding
IML is a much less complex process compared to IMD. It typically involves only a small section of the part. A label is applied to the component to add color, logos, textures, or other effects.

The benefit of these processes comes through in the cost. You can save on production if you use the In-mold decorating (IMD) and in-mold labeling (IML) technology for displays, covers, and control panels. IMD and IML allow for a high-quality graphics which makes the design look better. It takes away the need for the use of adhesives. When used properly the in-mold film process will produce results that will last a long time.
